Accommodations at Hacienda Temozon

Thanks to your wonderful wedding gift, we will enjoy an unforgettable stay in one of the unique rooms at Hacienda Temozon. The rooms feature 18-foot ceilings with exposed beams and rafters, 10-foot wooden double doors, massive iron beds, dark tropical hardwood cabinets, cool tile floors and a view to the gardens of the Hacienda. We’ll also have our own woven cotton hammocks allowing us to enjoy a siesta in the Mayan style.

Accommodations at Hacienda San Jose

Thanks to your wonderful gift, we will enjoy an unforgettable stay in one of the unique rooms of Hacienda San Jose. This soothing sanctuary boasts magical walkways of gracefully cut flower arches. In the rooms, exquisite colors pop at every corner, making our days brighter and nights more mysterious against the flickering of candles. Mérida Night City Tour

We will enjoy a wonderful honeymoon tour while exploring Mérida built on the site of the Maya city of T'ho, also known as Ichcaanzihó or "city of the five hills" referring to five pyramids. Mérida has one of the largest centro historico districts in the Americas, and colonial homes line the city streets to this day. After a day of exploring, we will enjoy dinner on a terrace under the Yucatan skies at a local restaurant.

Izamal Tour and Romantic Dinner for Two at Casa Azul

Izamal must be experienced to be believed! With this wonderful gift we will enjoy visiting many colonial buildings and one of the most beautiful monasteries constructed by the Franciscans in Yucatan. After our visit to the town of Izamal, the oldest city in the state of Yucatan, we will enjoy a romantic dinner at Casa Azul, an enchanting colonial structure with an ancient pyramid right in the backyard where our very special dinner will take place.

Hacienda Tekik de Regil is a magnificent private hacienda offering a magnificent kitchen in which we will learn how to prepare a three course meal fit for the most demanding palates. Together, we will learn the technique, the recipes and share the chef’s passion for the food of the region. Once the class is finished, we will choose a romantic spot on the grounds to enjoy the lunch we have just prepared!

The Glory Decline and Revitalization of the Haciendas

On this private tour, we will enjoy a day of exploring the Yucatan’s Haciendas – some in ruins, others brilliantly restored. We will learn about their growth, decline and revitalization. We will visit Hacienda Sotuta de Peon, one of the last Haciendas that still produce henequen, agave fiber, before we move on to Hacienda Itzincab to enjoy a delicious lunch served in the Hacienda’s amazing garden. Later, our journey will continue to Hacienda Tekik de Regil, an architectural gem from the Yucatan Belle Époque. This will be a tour filled with beauty, culture and history!

Chichen Itza and Lunch at Xocempich Private Cenote

This will be a dream come true on our honeymoon! We will visit the pre-hispanic world’s most celebrated archaeological site, Chichen Itza as well as the world famous Castillo, a pyramid recently declared one of the Seven New Wonders of the World. After Chichen Itza, we will head to Xocempich, a private Cenote, an underwater cave, on the ruins of a historical ranch. We will have time to relax and explore before enjoying a delicious lunch served beneath the magnificent old trees at the property.
